Gabriel visited the Woodland's Children's Museum with his cousins, Cody and Neena today. He had a great time playing "house" and crawling around on the tumbling mats. There was so much to see and do there...lots of things when he gets a little bit older. We tried to get him to crawl through the sea tunnel, but that was a little too scary!

Montgomery County Fair
Gabe has been a busy bee with Rodeos and Fairs last month. Earlier in March we attended the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, it was a lot of fun. He enjoyed the sights, sounds and smells and it was really neat to watch his reactions to everything. A couple weeks ago we attended the Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo with Gabe's cousins, Cody and Neena. The kids had a blast checking out all the animals and watching the rodeo. They had lots of youth events that we are eager to get our kids involved in. Have you ever heard of Mutton Bustin'? It was the most adorable thing...kids between 5 and 10 jump on the back of sheep and try and hang on for 8 seconds (similar to bull riding). It was really something! For kids under 5 there's a stick horse race...too cute! At the petting zoo, momma and Gabe got to meet a camel (see above). We had a great time and are looking forward to going back next year!

Happy Boy!
I am excited to start a blog for Gabriel...My cousin has a site set up for Hannah and I thought it was really neat so here we go...
Gabe is 10 1/2 months old and such a joy! He is smiling and laughing 95% of the time, the other 5% is when he wants to go to sleep! He is still taking 2 long naps a day (yea!!) and sleeping mostly through the night, he'll wake up half way through for a bottle and go right back to sleep! He is trying really hard to walk, he'll stand for moments at a time on his own and cruises really well! We are excited for this next milestone. Daddy can't wait for his little buddy to follow him around everywhere.
All is great here, we are loving every minute with our little sweetheart. Preparations are at hand for the big birthday celebration...will keep you posted!
